Lyrics

One of the type of poems we could choose was lyrics. These are mine. (They might make no sence)

Locked in my house. Watching the grouse walk around in my backyard.

It was fine until the bird flew away and broke into my car.

But that never happened. And it will never happen.

Why do I have these thoughts!

My brain is filled with knots!

Can someone help me connect the dots of my mind?

I’m paranoid!

Everything is so surreal around here.

There are sounds that only I can hear.

Whyyyyy!

Nothing can help me now,

No one can help me now,

I can’t help me now.

Why do I have these thoughts!

My brain is filled with knots!

Can someone help me connect the dots of my mind?

I’m paranoid!

Haiku

Mr. Moore asked us to write a haiku. This was mine.

Catchy and surreal

psychedelic and  quirky

dreamy and noisy.

Fuzzy and trippy,

Tangerines and vaseline,

chasing bees in jars.

Glacier Park Logo making.

About two weeks ago our class made logos for a project that starts in Term 2 called The City Of Glacier Park. Everybody drew their logo on paper and then redrew in Sketchbook on the iPad. This was my logo.

Mr. Moore also made a video documenting our class making the logos.

Superhero: Blue Flame

Backstory: Liam Albarn was a science student. One day in class he was experimenting with blue fire. In the middle of the experiment another person bumped him and Liam caught on fire. It went all over his body. He dropped dead for one minute and came back alive. He had blue flames coming out of his hands. And he was floating. A few days later another student name Chris, who hated Liam, fused himself with some Technetium. A month later, they had both figured out there powers. They saw each other in public and had a battle. So started the rivalry between Blue Flame and Technetium.

100 word adjective challenge

Mr Moore asked us to add adjectives to an one hundred word story he wrote, here’s mine.

Sam crept very quietly through the cold and prickly scrub. Suddenly, her eyes widened and she froze. She wanted to turn and run, but it was as if her shoes were stuck in very sticky mud. The animal locked eyes with Sam, but stood motionless. Sam was just a young girl, she could never outrun such a savage beast. All of a sudden it charged and drove its horn into her leg just as Sam plunged a sharp wooden object into the strange animal’s torso. She screamed loudly, the animal squealed, and both slowly retreated into the prickly bush. Sam glanced at the blood spurting from her bruised and scratched leg as everything slowly faded black…
